On September 17, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia formally signed a **Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement. The agreement was finalized during Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Riyadh.
According to reports, the historic agreement was signed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. This step is being seen as a major move to further strengthen the decades-old security cooperation between the two nations.
