Lucknow, August 28, 2025 — The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the official notification for UP Police Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025. A total of 4,543 vacancies have been announced across different departments of the police force.

Civil Police SI: 4,242 posts
Platoon Commander (PAC): 135 posts
Fire Service Platoon Commander: 60 posts
Women’s PAC Battalion SI: 106 posts (Badaun, Lucknow, Gorakhpur)

Last Date to Apply Online: September 11, 2025
Fee Payment Deadline: September 11, 2025 (Reconciliation till September 13)
Mandatory OTR (One-Time Registration): Started on July 31, 2025; already 3.5 lakh+ registrations completed. OTR is free and compulsory for all candidates.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria & Relaxations

Age Limit: 21–28 years as of July 1, 2025. A 3-year relaxation is provided for all candidates (as per May 26 Govt order).
Educational Qualification: Graduation required. Provisional certificate or marksheet acceptable at the time of application, but original documents must be produced later.
Important Note for Female Candidates: Caste certificates must be in the father’s name (not husband’s) to claim reservation benefits.

The UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 selection will be conducted in multiple stages:
